About us

In 2016, our ski trip came to an abrupt end when something wasn't right with our 5-year-old son.

The doctors sent us to the nearest
hospital where they decided to immediately send us 60 miles home to be admitted to Halland's hospital for two weeks.

Our son had developed type 1 diabetes and our life was turned upside down.

Type 1 diabetes is an incurable and life-threatening disease that mainly affects children and young people. Assistive devices are directly crucial to making their lives easier and reducing the risk of future complications.

A few years ago we had an idea that we wanted to test.
In 2022 we started the family business "QlickOne Sweden AB"

In the fall of 2023, we now finally have the joy of launching a practical aid in stylish
design for type 1 diabetics' vital dextrose tablets.

QlickOne Sweden AB develops, manufactures and sells all products using Swedish materials, suppliers and carriers. We always strive for the most environmentally friendly and sustainable alternative.

Should an accident occur, we always have spare parts for QlickOne. In this way, we extend the life of the product and protect both the environment and resources.

Knowledge about type 1 diabetes is still very low. We hope to increase it with the help of QlickOne.

Dextro Energy

Dextro Energy's history begins back in 1927 when a powder that raised blood sugar levels was launched in pharmacies. During the 20th century, the product was developed and refined and the predecessor of Dextro Energy was even "the official competition food" at the Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936 and in Munich in 1972. The now classic Dextro form in sticks came in 1992, packaging with tablets in reasonable size (47g).
