Dextro Energy's history begins back in 1927 when a powder that raised blood sugar levels was launched in pharmacies. During the 20th century, the product was developed and refined and the predecessor to Dextro Energy was even "the official competition food" at the Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936 and in Munich in 1972. The now classic Dextro form in sticks came in 1992, packaging with 47 grams with tablets of the right size.
